At the end of November, Bekah successfully presented and defended her Masters thesis. She did an outstanding job with her work on the structural properties of orbital hoods, investigating the neuroanatomy of snapping shrimp, and learning about markers of brain damage in these animals that use shock waves as weapons. Bekah now works at the Oklahoma Aquarium on the inverts team! We'll miss Bekah around the lab, but we are so proud!
